The Bureau of Standards and Instructional Support produces annual summer professional learning events held at high schools across the state. Each week of professional learning serves 1080 Florida educators. In 2025, 2 weeks of professional learning will be offered.
These professional learning events are state government sponsored events; therefore, they must adhere to state statutes regarding all aspects of the event. All agreements are required to go through a procurement process and legal review, which can takes weeks to complete.
When a provider is selected by FDOE from RFP results, an agreement will be executed through the fiscal agent assigned by FDOE. This can be a lengthy process that may take up to two months to complete. All fiscal agents are tax-exempt and will provide tax-exempt certificate to the provider.
